In the years 1929-1930, two 15 year old schoolboys produced a magazine called
'Our Quarter'.

The frontispiece stated:
"This magazine appears occasionally,
when it thinks it will."

The boys were B.Ian Wherrett and Jack Hems.

They wrote much of the material and drew the illustrations.

The text includes:

• stories
• poems
• reviews
• editorials.

There is:

• politics
• drama
• sedition
• slavery
• justice
• revolution
• salvation
• love
• crime

and that's just issue 1.
